Latin Music Curator Events connect people through the rich and diverse sounds of Latin music. In a scene that often overlooks the depth of diasporic rhythms, these events create space for stories, grooves, and voices that deserve to be celebrated. I curate each event alongside a range of amazing selector-collectors and DJs, highlighting the talent and creativity of the Latin diaspora with vinyl-only sets of salsa, cumbia, boogaloo, Latin soul, and more. Past curations have taken place at The Plaza Basement, Rafi’s in North Sydney, and the Ace Hotel, bringing vibrant Latin rhythms to diverse audiences across the city.

Over the past three years, Discoteca Tropical, curated alongside Sir Bolivar, has brought the vibrancy of Latin music to Sydney with incredible lineups, collaborations, and sold-out events. From cumbia, Latin soul, boogaloo, and Caribbean grooves, each night celebrates community, culture, and the joy of shared music experiences, creating a space where fans and artists come together to dance, connect, and celebrate Latin rhythms.
